I'm Tori and I am so very glad you dropped by to check out The Zesty Life! Born2bzesty was born out of my desire to share things that unleash my creativity, support my health and wellness journey, create an environment that is beautiful yet serene, and most importantly, give me joy! As a wife, mother, and entrepreneur, my life is full of to do's, and I spend most of my time just trying to keep my head above water. Like most of us, I take great pride in creating a beautiful home where my family can be comfortable, enjoy nutritious meals, nurture their dreams, and thrive! We know that endeavor is more than a notion all its own. Oftentimes, in the endeavor to care for those we love, we can neglect or lose ourselves, and it's quite difficult to pour from an empty cup. Born2bzesty is all about pouring into self which I believe is in no way selfish, but sacred!

Self care is really the backdrop for my brand. It's about taking time for self, to care for your person in all the ways you need to in order to replenish your cup and maintain your zest for life. That endeavor for me starts with overall health and wellness, taking care of my body so it can take care of me. I love to workout, really, I love it! I feel strong which is so empowering, and knowing I'm doing something good for my body and my future self also makes me feel accomplished. The added bonus of looking healthy and fit is also good for my psyche and self confidence; I call that a win win! Here, I share my fitness journey along with some super delicious and nutritious vegan recipes.

You can't talk self care without talking beauty. I am a makeup girl! I've been playing in hair and makeup for as long as I can remember, starting with that Barbie doll bust (you know the one with the head and shoulders and you could style her hair and makeup her face); she was my first beauty client! As a makeup girl, skincare is essential because you can't produce a great painting without a beautiful canvas. I share the processes and products that work for me to give me healthy, glowing skin, as well as the cosmetics that I find work well with mature skin. As we age, we must adapt in all manners of things and cosmetics is no exception. I want products that help to boost my glow, bring life and energy to my face, so my inner glow can shine through.

Fashion, oh the fashion! There's nothing like a great outfit to set the tone for the day. No matter how cliche, the truth is when you look good, you feel good! I want to feel my best everyday, and I make my best effort to do so on a daily basis. Finding garments that work with my lifestyle, my budget, and my style aesthetic help me to be at my best on any given occasion. I worked in the fashion industry for over 20 years and I share with you all the knowledge and tips I acquired when it comes to creating stylish looks. Everyone can participate in fashion, but style is personal, it is an outward expression of how you present yourself to the world. Women are complex and multifaceted creatures, so it's no wonder that many of us find it difficult to find our personal style. I hope to assist you on that journey by providing simple tools and guidance that everyone can use to create stylish outfits to look and feel your best.  My personal style is a balanced blend of what I call modern classic, somewhat minimal, and edgy. Here I share fashion finds, trends, sales, up and coming designers, and my everyday looks as styling inspiration.

At the end of the day, I'm just a woman trying to make the best of this gift of life! I'm trying to treat each day like the gift it is, pouring into myself, so that I am better able to pour into those that I love.
